So what's the plan here? In other words, whence the title? The order of appearance of the solo instruments gives the clue: piano, violin, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet - from the front of the platform (assuming the piano is playing a concerto) to the back! And the full orchestra to finish with.
